Hello everyone,
I am wondering about using of Inclusive gateway and your opinion will be very useful for me. I know theoretically that if we have 3 branches after the OR gateway (lets numbering them 1,2 and 3), the possible options are:
- only one of them;
- 1 and 2;
- 1 and 3;
- 2 and 3;
- all can be happened.
But how we modeled the case when there is combination(s) which can not happened ever (not all combinations is possible) . An example is business actions taken based on survey results. In the example below, one process is triggered if the consumer is satisfied with product A. Another flow is triggered when the consumer indicates that they are satisfied with product B. A third process is triggered if they aren't satisfied with A. Look at the picture in the attached file:
When an user read the model, the possible combinations are cleared to understand from descriptions (conditions) but how ARIS will know which can or not be happened from an executable point of view? The example is from ARIS Express, but question concerns ARIS 7 or ARIS 9.
Thanks in advance those who will respond to this question.
