Hi,

I've got an issue in Publisher.

Can't login with entire users created via Designer Server.

When I check info about Publihser, loged with root/root, I see a warning on license (attached image).

I import license to Aris Design Server and  to patch

SoftwareAG\ARIS9.6\server\bin\work\work_businesspublisher_m\base\webapps\businesspublisher\config\license

What I'm doing wrong?

Ty

Dear Alex,

Did you create usergroups and assign read access to the users who need to login to publisher ?

Cheers,

ZZ

Hi Zuheb,

yes, I did.

I've got some kind of license issue. Checking log files I can read:

Invalid license....server can not start correctly!!!!!!!!

And some other license ERRORS and SEVERES about license. (attached log)

I've got a server license, and installed a _m Design Server, but I've installed a Publisher server without SQL or Oracle database, the smallest installation i could, cause I don't need more.

Maybe the problem could be about this kind of installation.

Ty.

Dear Alex,

Did you put the Publisher's license file as ZIP file in the folder "...work_businesspublisher_m\base\webapps\businesspublisher\config\license"?

You could also use the ACC command enhance:

enhance businesspublisher_m with license local file "C:/Keys/ARIS_Publisher_license.zip"

Cheers

Yeah, I did.

I just can imagine that a Publisher server as a small performance is not compatible with my license. Is that possible?

Cheers,

No, the Publisher setup as well as the Publisher work independent of the license and installation size.

After installing Publisher and before publishing a database for the the first time, I would check the licenses in Publisher. I guess the issue occurred already at that point in time.

Cheers

Don't worry, I opened a ticket on SAG.

So , If we can solve this problem, I will post the solution for someone who needed.

I fixed the issue just adding /umc at umcconfig.cfg,

Setup configure url and does not work:

<umcproviderurl value="http://server"/>

Adding /umc works fine:

<umcproviderurl value="http://server/umc"/>

Thanks all

Aleix
