Dear all.
I am having trouble creating assignments in Process Live EPC diagram. Simply by clicking on the object (for example Process Interface) and then by clicking on the toolbar "Assignemnts" command I get pull-down menu with options "Create Assignments" and "Delete Assignments" where Delete option is grayed out (logically since there is nothing to delete yet).
But whatever I do (clicking, selecting with keyboard arrows) I cannot select Create option in no way. From my perspective looks like a bug in Process Live.
Please help. Thanks.
Andrej
Hi Andrej,
I have tested the problem you mentioned, but I cannot reproduce it. I am able to add assignments when a function is selected and I can delete existing assignments.
A possible cause in your case may be that the model has been locked by another user which means that you are unable to edit it. Could you please provide a screenshot showing the problem?
Hi Eva,
Thanks for reply. It looks like there are some interface issues. I provided a screenshot below.
I cannot select "Create assignment" or more exactly if I click it, the pull-down menu simply closes and nothing happens. I also tested "Attribute placement" function with the same result - I get the complete pull-down menu but whatever I click, nothing happens just the menu closes. If I use arrow keys on keyboard nothing happens (the selection does not move).
The same happens with all options in the toolbar except "Fill color" where when I move the cursor over the color palette the process image disappears. Below is screenshot of that.
Otherwise manipulating objects, connecting, moving, everything works OK it just looks like everything from the toolbar has some issues.
I am using Google Chrome version 33.0.1750.146 m on Windows 7.
Regards,
Andrej
Hi Andrej,
I have tested this and everything works fine.
Are you using any pop-up blockers? If you do, the pop-up blockers may prevent the dialog window from opening, which would explain the strange behavior. Have you already tested Process Live in another browser to see whether the behavior is the same there?

Eva
