More than represent in a graphic format a business process, the diagram or map should allow users to recognize their job routines and use the map to periodically check if he is doing what is supposed to do be done and have a easy to access and easy to use tool to check if he is following his routine, so maps drawn in ARIS tool should be stored in a format that any user can open, read and print at any time, even the notation used should be as intuitive as possible to avoid doubts and mistakes.

Think about it and don´t forget the paging of the document, not everyone has A3 or plotters to print a map!

IMHO a BPMN diagram that requires a A3 or even bigger sheet to be readable has too many elements to be comprehensive.
