Hi.
We are using ARIS Version:10.0.15.2.1580924,you could see attachment[aris version.png].
I am using version function of aris ,you could see [attachment1.png].
I have read ARIS Help,[Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Within the selection] and [Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Include border items],you could see [attachment-Within the selection.png] 
and [attachment-Include border items.png].
I practiced according to the ARIS Help documents,but , the results of the execution are not consistent with the ARIS Help document content.The results of the execution are the same for "Within the selection" and “Include border items”.Here's no difference.
I hope you can provide a very detailed operating instructions of [Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Within the selection] and [Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Include border items].
My steps are as follows.
1.I create a model,model type is [Product/Service tree],model name is M1,you could see [attachment2].
2.I create a model,model type is [TOGAF diagram],model name is M2,you could see [attachment3].
3.I create a assignment,the assignment is from M1 to M2,you could see [attachment4].
4.I versioned M1 model,you could see [attachment5]
,the content of configuration,you could see [attachment6]
.The record of M1 version,you could see [attachment7]
.[Change list number] is 1.
5.I versioned M2 model,you could see [attachment8]
,the content of configureation,you could see [attachment9]
.The record of M2 version,you could see [attchment10]
.[Change list number] is 2.
6.I logined database of [Change list number 1],you could see [attachment11]
,I could see a M1 model,you could see [attachment12]

7.I opened M1 model(you could see [attachment12]
).I could see assignment symbol of [Organizational unit type] object.According to [Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Within the selection],I think that the assignment symbol should not be here .I clicked the assignment symbol,A message appears,you could see [attachment12]

8.I logined database of [Change list number 2],you could see [attachment13]
.I could see M1 model and M2 model,you could see [attachment14]
.
9.I opened M1 model,you could see [attachment15]
,I clicked the assignment symbol of [Organizational unit type] object,opened the M2 model,you could see [attachment16]
.According to [Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Within the selection],I think that the assignment relationship between M1 and M2 should not exist.
10.According to [Edit models>Check and approve models>Version models>Good to know>Examples:Include border items],Follow the steps above,I created M3 and M4 model.I did the same operation again.The difference is that I selected [Include border items] when I versioned M3 and M4,you could see [attachment17]
.The results of the execution are the same with "Within the selection".
