Hi everyone,

maybe someone could help me. I am quite sure that I have seen a solution for this but I can not remember it anymore. :-)

My problem is the following:

Everytime I execute an ARIS script which is making changes to a model or object it also changes the attributes "last change" and "last editor". I do not want to have everywhere the user "system" as "last editor" in the model attributes.

Is there any possibility to prevent ARIS script of changing those attributes?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers

Christian

Hi Christian,

the ABArchitect report script "Import translated attributes" in the category "standard" asks whether you like to update the last change and last user attributes. According to the answer stored in

g_btouch = __toBool((dlg.getDlgValue("CheckTouch") == 1));

it invokes a method

ArisData.getActiveDatabase().setAutoTouch(false);     // No touch !!!

But as there is no script help description, it is up to you to verifiy if false is false or true 8-))

Regards, Martin

Hi Martin,

many thanks for that. I will check that and come back to let you know if it was true or false. :o)

Thanks again Martin...

Here is the result: false means false - it does not touch the attributes anymore.

I am really wondering why there are so many not documented methods inside of ARIS script. :)
