ARIS Architect & Designer 9.8: Grey and empty connections

Hi,

On several PCs we have the same problem: Opening a registered System Reference Model with the Explorer gives a view with correct information on the left side, but empty and grey boxes on the right side. These boxes are connected to objects in the Organization part, but the connections somehow are not visible or active.

This has been a problem on a colleague's PC, but it worked fine on mine. But after upgrading my PC from Windows 7 to 10 I got the problem also. Installing the Aris program on a third PC with Windows 7 did not help either.

Now we have three PCs with the problem, and not any without it. So we are stuck!

Hi,

most likely this has nothing to do with the pc itself.

Could you check which filter is used? Could you also check the access to the groups where the objects are located?

Same here.

When I edit and deploy with my account, empty icons occure. When my colleague edits and deploys, everything is fine. But we use the same filter.

Another possibility is that you have different licences. Some licence extensions allow extended method elements.

Next possibility could be limited read permissions. If you don't have read permission to the groups where these object definitions reside, this could be the cause.
