Does anybody know how to create a cancel event?
I have tried but the cancel event is always disabled (see below).
First, as a normal End Event...
Then, as an Intermediary Event as an exception on a process...
As an End Event after an Intemediary Event...
Within a Sub-Process...
I would really like to know when this element IS enabled?
Thanks
Hi Sascha,
Thanks for your feedback. Success, I have managed to get the Cancel END event to work by placing it WITHIN the Transaction Subprocess (see below). I had tried the end event with a transaction subprocess before thinking that there might be a BPMN 2 rule around transactions and cancel events but didn't think to put it IN the subprocess.
To use the Cancel Intermedairy Event, it would appear that the only way this can be done is placing the Cancel Intermediary Event on the boundry of a Transaction Subprocess (see below).
Thanks again for your help.
