What are the supported open source JDK/JRE for ARIS Architect? Can any community driven editions be used?

Hi Dragana.

you need to have a locally installed JRE (64 bit) to start the download client. The jar file you get from the ARIS server is the download manager, that updates/downloads (if needed) and starts the actual client.

The JRE for this jar needs to be minimum Java 1.8, or newer.

Please note: the ARIS Architect itself needs Java 17... in case the JRE you are using is not Java 17, the downloader will just unpack a JRE from us to start the Architekt.

Bye,

Frank
