Hello everybody,
I detected that in ARIS Connect (Version 98.1.0.1021439) I can't see Enterprise BPMN Collaboration Diagram - models. I already created some models in ARIS Architect Client. Did anyone else have the same problem?
Regards
Gilang
Dear Gilang,
Did you check that you can access in ARIS Connect the "Enterprise BPMN collaboration diagram" titled "Sales order processing" in the UMG demo database?
It's located in Main group / 2. Processes / 2.1 Process architecture / 2.1.1 Core processes / 2.1.1.4a Marketing & sales / 2.1.1.4a.4 Sales order management / Sales order processing / BPMN Sales order Processing
And your version no. looks a bit odd to me. ARIS 9.8 SR1 is actually 98.1.0.1021446. However, the above model I opened in ARIS 9.8 GA (98.0.4.0.1002440). So it should be still there in SR1. ;-)
Cheers
Rune
Hello Rune, thank for your respond.
The model that you mentioned "Sales order processing" in the UMG demo database is not an "Enterprise BPMN collaboration diagram", it is just a normal "BPMN 2.0 collaboration diagram".
I can access the normal "BPMN 2.0" one in ARIS Connect, but the "Enterprise BPMN 2.0" one that I created myself in ARIS Architect client can't be opened (better said can't be seen or detected) in ARIS Connect.
Do you also have a similar problem perhaps?
Regards
Gilang
As I mentioned before, your version doesn't seem 9.8 SR1, but it was a pre-GA built. To double check I recommend to download and check the databases archive from the ARIS Download Center.
When you are missing in Connect a model you have just created, it might be that you activated your database in Connect using "Last version" instead of "Workspace". Only Workspace has the most recent database content. Last version equals that content which was current when the last time someone versionend that database.
To use Connect "Last version" of a database makes sense when you consider Connect as a process portal with the last quality checked process repository. Of course, modelers would rather work using Workspace until QA
Cheers
