Hi. I am new to ARIS Cloud and I’m just trying to understand the fundamental framework of Database, Group, and Model. How do they relate to each other, is there a taxonomy?

Hi Lawrence,

the database is a container for models and all the information that belongs to them. Groups allow users to semantically structure models in the database.

I hope this will help you.

Regards

Eva

Hi Eva. Can you explain a little bit more by what you mean by "Groups allow users to semantically structure models in the database"?

"Groups allow users to semantically structure models in the database" means that for the purpose of storing models, users can create groups in a database in order to combine models in them that deal with similar topics or are of the same type, for example. Does this answer your question?
