Hello there

I am not sure how to handle this query and whether I am at the right forum.

I am trying to figure out how to open .XML file, after simulation and simulation experiment using ARIS  9.8 (Architect and business design).

Any tutorial or any comment would be welcomed

Thanks

Hello Tom

Thanks for helping. I am trying to run a simulation experiment, when I run the simulation experiment, I am either unable to refer back to .XML file that is generated as an output. Also on occasions connecting to ARIS has issues and often the simulation experiment returns an error message copy pasted here

Thanks and best regards

Hello,

I have made an EPC for Customer Complaints with min processing time and maximum processing time.

Now I want to run a report to compare the process and ASIS process.

1) How to input the ASIS data into ARIS or is this done outside ARIS?

2) What is simulation report if I have to run for this EPC process of customer complaints?

Thank you

George

Hi Maarif, the XML file is in the SpreadsheetML format of Excel 2003, so you can open it with Excel or any other program supporting this format.

Hi George, the as-is data can be maintained in ARIS as attributes of the various objects in the EPC. Check the ARIS Help on simulation for attributes which are relevant. I'm not sure I understand the second question correctly. In case you wanted to ask, what the output of simulating the process is, then this is also described in the ARIS Help on simulation. The output can include information on occurrences, times, utilization, cost, etc. for various object types and processes.
