I'm making a report script that is to make a copy of a group from one database to another, including the access rights for all users. Using Merge I'm successfully able to transfer groups, users and user groups, however the groups that are transferred do not get the same access rights in the database it's copied to. Is there a simple way to include this?
There's a merge option called setInheritAccessRightsForNewGroups which is already set to true by default, but that doesn't seem to help.
I've also thought of getting the UserList from the group that's being copied, iterating through it and setting the same access rights in the other database, but that also proves difficult since items that are transferred do not get the same GUIDs in the other database.
