has anyone tried to create workflow where you generate report and in next step you send the report as an attachment?
I have automated task that runs report. I specified the path and file name but it seems to be ignored. However the document is created and stored in ADS in a WS report execution folder and has a temp.xls name. I was able to get this URL to the document but I cannot manage to actually get the document object that can be used as attachment. The operator get document by path does not recognize the URL. And I cannot get the ADS document path. If I open the link in browser and log in as arisservice user the document is downloaded. Do I have to download document first to some temp folder and then send it as attachment?
In ARIS 7.2 I had to run report then upload the document to ADS in order to send it as attachment. Therefore I hoped that in ARIS 9 I could get the document object from ADS directly once its there automatically uploaded by Create - Report service.
