I'm very new with ARIS & JAVA stack therefore sorry for silly questions... Is it possible to understand inside a report script how it was run: via desktop app (e.g. Aris Architect) or via Aris web-client? [I suppose that depending on the statrtup mode, script could use appropriate classes to show initial userdialog with tuning script parameters]. Please point the correct direction :-)
Thx a lot for any comments and code examples (especially for web-access scenario).

you can use the Aris script method getEnvironment() (cf. Aris script help http:// <yourserver.dom> /abs/help/en/script/ba/index.htm#report_OBJECTS_Context_getenvironment.htm ) to evaluate
Constants.ENVIRONMENT_STD // Standard = started by Aris Designer or Architect client
Constants.ENVIRONMENT_TC // Thin client = started by Aris Connect Client
Constants.ENVIRONMENT_BP // = run on Bus. Publisher Server
