Hello,

i have a question concerning the auto-incrementing identifier function of ARIS Architect. I know you can enable this in the database properties, but have a question about it.

Is it possible to make this function regard already existing identifiers? Apparently, it's incrementing without watching the existing identifiers.

For example, if i'm creating the Identifier with prefix "ARIS" the result for example will be ARIS.180 but if this id is already existing in the database it will set this anyway. So this id is existing twice?

Is there a possibility to achieve that in this case the id "ARIS.181 or "ARIS.200" will be set?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Richard

Update: Unfortunately it simply is not possible.
