Yesterday, there was the post of Martin about the new release of ARIS MashZone. One feature that sounds quite boring (“Dynamic data source parameters”), indeed opens up a new horizon to analyze huge data volume with MashZone.
In deed this feature allowe to build a MashApp, that allows you to browse all KPIs from the World Bank in a geographical way as you see here:
Just figure out at your own what is the CO2 emissions per capita around the world. Or maybe you are interested in the control of corruption of the countries? You can select among more than 100 KPIs, for over 200 countries and up to 50 years of data. All this data is now at your fingertips thanks to MashZone!
Additionally, you might be interested in analyzing correlation between different indicators. Does the CO2 emission relate to the birth rate? My other MashApp allows to collelate up to three indicators:
You see, with this great API from World Bank and the cool features of MashZone it is really possible to analyze the world!
Unfortunalty, the World Bank server seems to be unavailable or to deny access the last days. Please don't be disappointed when you a MashApp like this:
It's not a matter of MashZone - it's just that the data is not available. I observed this issue some days ago and after a while it was fixed again. So keep you fingers crossed!
