is it possible to use RSS / Atom Feeds in the ARIS MashZone like Google News? If possible then how?

You can use the XML data source in the feed editor. Just enter the URL of your news feed and then select Atom or RSS from the combo box 'Template' ('Vorlage' in German).
Alternatively, you can also enter the values directly: the recurring element in an Atom feed is <entry>. Each entry element will result in a row in the result table. Every sub element or attribute of <entry> will translate into a column.
