Dear Gents,
I have my own Process manual and i would like the end user to printed in Aris , how it can be implemented ?!
Hi Ayman,
Can you specify your question further? First of all, what do you mean with process manual- people use it in different ways.
I assume that you mean a report that then creates a process manual. Did you already code it and is it available to your end users? Where are you struggeling?
Best,
Veronika
Hi Ayman,
it depends a bit on your ARIS installation. I assume you are using ARIS Connect. In there you find an icon called Reports.
That is a standard report which is part of the installation- it is locked for editing. So, you cannot modify it. But you can access it in read mode. Thus, you can look at the code and copy elements of it- if needed.
I would recommend to not modify standard reports. They are overwritten when you change your ARIS release.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Veronika
Hi Ayman,
it is possible to create custom reports. You need some coding experience to do so. In case you don't, there are some partners of SAG who can support you with that: Partners | ARIS BPM Community (ariscommunity.com)

Recommendation is to make a copy of the report and modify that. You can do this via the Architect client. You find the report in the Administration under Evaluations in the category "Sample scripts". It is a report you can edit with the WYSIWYG editor of ARIS Architect.
This is a sample script because no sample of two ARIS customers wants exactly the same content in their process manual. And obviously you also have your own idea what should be shown in it.
So make a duplicate of that report and start modifying it as you need. If you ever feel the urge to look at the souce code of the report, you can. But if you ever hit "Save" in the source code view there is no way back to WYSIWYG editing for this report.
