Hi, I'd like to learn more about the database ARIS Design stores and manages data in:
- Is it ADABAS? Do we have the option to install ARIS on something else: Oracle, SQL Server, etc.?
- What are the technical prerequisites to install ARIS Design server? Connect Server?

Dear Akram,
ADABAS is a DBMS product of Software AG, but ARIS doesn't support it. ARIS 9.8 supports Oracle 11.x/12.x, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2/2012/2014.
ARIS Design/Connect Server are based on a scalable architecture, ranging from a single user installation up to multi-node multi-tenancy high-availability installation scenarios. The hardware sizing depends various parameters, such as like number of simultaneously users connected to the server and number/size of ARIS databases etc.
These both ARIS server products are running on Windows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2, Linux RedHat ES 6.4/6.5/6.6/7.1, SUSE Linux ES 11 SP2/SP3, and Ubuntu 12/14 LTS.
The corresponding ARIS client products running on Windows for the Java-based clients or Linux for some browser-based clients.
