In Several ARIS Reports, I used Read Only Attributes to Control teh Report execution.
I notice that the user cannot change values, but the Report can.
While migrating to a newer version of ARIS, I was (almost 100%) certain that there were no changes on Attributes so I could continue to use them.
After migrating I notice that I have problems, I'm not able to use Read Only Attributes in Methodological Filter configuration.
Is this a bug, or I'm doing someting wrong?
In my "old" ARIS version 7.2.3.654794 (SR 2012_03)
- I could create Read Only Attributes
- Use these Attributes in the Methodological Filter configuration
- I'm able to link these Attributes in Models / ObjDef
In my "new" ARIS version 9.7.0.0.95872
- I can create Read Only Attributes
- I CANNOT use theses Attributes in the Methodological Filter configuration
- I'm NOT able to link these Attributes in Models / ObjDef
Hello, maybe you forget to assign the attribute to the model/objdef type :
Did you assigned your new attribute to the item type?
Before to be able to add a new attribute on a model type, you have to open the the model type in edition (Configuration -> Method -> Model types -> Edit) and select (Attribute selection) the new attribute to this model type.
Only after this step you will be able to add it in the filter.
Hope that helps you.
