Restore older DB

Hi all,

Can I restore a databe that was created in ARIS 6.x in Aris 7.1.xx?

I try it and I can't.

And, what is bdb extension in Aris DB's?

Hi Aleix,

You should have an ARIS Convertor as part of your installation

ARIS database extensions are .adb

I am trying to restore database from ARIS Architect but restore database option is inactive as attached, i have allready all privileges , any solution for this or any other way to restore database

Dear Mohamed,

The above discussion is years old. Your screenshot looks as if you are using a relatively new ARIS version.

If you are using ARIS Connect Server or ARIS Designer Server you need the functional privilege to restore/manage databases. Which ARIS product and version are you using?

I suggest to open up a new discussion thread.
