Publisher Export daily update

Hello,

i have a problem with Publisher Export daily update. We have many databases in Aris, and for 3 we already have daily update. I had to create another one for a new database. I copied scriptrunner.cfg which we use for the another database and edited the database name, nothing else. I created a scheduled task too. Every day the scheduled task says it was running, but the export did not refresh. Can anyone help me? What shall i edit in scriptrunner.cfg? License key and script id is the same in every file, and it works for the 3 databases but not for this new one...

Did you check the user / password within the DB?

In scriptrunner.cfg you would need to edit at least the DB name and the Publisher export name. Cf. here

User/password is fine, i tried to change it, then i got error message with wrong username or password. In another config files there is no such line as Export Name and yet they are working. However i tried it too, but no change. After 10 seconds it exits with no errors, and in the logs seems nothing, as it doesn't even started...

What do you mean exactly by "Publisher Export daily update"? In order to publish a further database you need to create a new Publisher export first, then you can update the export. Hence the new export will have a new export name.

please check again the step by step procedure in this post , particularly the paragraph "You now need to modify the following properties:"

I have created a Publisher Export first. And i have edited the config file with correct data. At least i think it's correct... The most annoying thing, that there are no errors so there are no logs of it so i can't think of anything... I will involve some collegaues, maybe they can help, if i get an answer, i will share it here... :)

Better ask Software AG support.

For script debugging you could try to run the Publisher update script from the Aris Script editor.

Or follow this post to add a logger from the script for the silent scheduled execution.
