Can somebody explain me how to create a procesmap in Aris BPMN? More specificly wich model type I have to use?

Hi Charlotte,
I'm not sure if it was a typo or you really mean BPMN? In ARIS, the process map is called "value-added chain diagram".
Is it that what you are looking for?

I maybe have a similar problem:
I created a "Funktionsbaum (function tree?)" and also a "value-added chain diagram" and tried to link it to "bpmn 2.0 collaboration diagrams" (ARIS BA 7.1). However I cannot choose the model type bpmn2.0 collaboration from the list od models you can link. Why is that happening?

Hi Yvonne,
the behaviour you describe is a known problem, but wasn't fixed so far. At the moment you can only assign a BPMN 2 process diagram.

This was fixed in 7.1 SR 8 if I remember it correctly. I just confirmed in my 7.1 SR 9 installation that it is possible to assign a BPMN Collaboration Diagram to a function that is part of a VACD or a Function Tree.
I assume that you have an installation somewhere between SR 5 and 7. You will have to do an upgrade of your installation.
