Hello
I'm carrying out searches in ARIS using the Find Function but my results keep getting "cut-off" at the 1,000 row mark. I've attached the message below:
"The search was cancelled. The maximum number of results (1000) was returned"
Can anyone tell me how I can edit this limit - my colleague does not have this restriction but we cannot work out what the difference is between our set-ups.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

ARIS Toolset doesn't have that limitation, but Business Architect does to prevent memory problems.
Edit the file "user.cfg" at C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\ARIS71 and look for the parameter below:
<userdata type="textsearch:MaximumResults"
Change the default value from 1000 to for example 5000.

Thanks for this tip Claudio. In our c ase, we access the ARIS through a thin client. Though we change the usr.cfg of the ID which logs into the thin client (and also save the file), the value resets back to 1000 when we execute the find.
Not able to corelate how the find execution resets the cfg file. Any pointers pls?

Tried changing the value to 4000. But still I am getting the same error message.Any other pointers pls.
Hello, this seems to work after changing the value and then restarting ARIS thin client. But how do you make it default on the server so when a new user launches thin client it is default to a value greater than 1000? Thanks.
