Hi there,

in EPC I have one function that has to be executed in specific time period from 4 till 5. Everything what comes before or after that time period has to go in waiting position.

This function is in the middle of EPC and it is part of process. I tried to assigned calendar event but it is not working.

Thx

Diana

You could assign a resource which only becomes available during the specific time period.

can do that because same resource is allready used before. I have three same empolyee working all day, and only one has to move things at that specific time period (4-5), others has to keep on working other functions

yes I did, few times..

I notice that is problem with time format for schedule. I do not know how to put a.m. or p.m .

For the a.m. time format is ok, but if I put 15:00 hours (it suposed to be 3 p.m.) in simulation it is recognized as 5 p.m... This is problem when I have to put 14:00 hours, because if I take that 1x:00 is mark for p.m., and I want something to start at 14 hours, I have to put 12:xx. Than I do not know what will happend with 12:00 a.m.

Regarding the times for the schedule: Are you using the current service release, i.e. "SR 2012_03"? You can check this under "Help --> About". There was a bug related to those times in earlier releases but it should have been fixed.

Regarding the resources: You could create a new dummy resource which just works from three to four and assign that to the function in question. Make sure that the connection types are so that all resources are required together (additive assignment).

and for the problem with schedule of employees .. I really do not know how to do that. I tried to creat extra calendar event for moving goods from 15:00 -16:00, but either it is now working or calendar event  from 15:00-16:00 is ignored.
