MacBook Air 1,4 GHz Intel Core2Duo, 2 Gb DDR3 RAM

ARIS Express (AE) installed normally but when I try to do something it hangs for a moment (about 1 minute!) after each click.
What's the problem?
additional info:
I use proxy in my office network and AE every launch gets proxy authorization.
At home I have a direct connection, and there are no problems with AE performance
Problem in Proxy? In internet connection?
