Hello, Need help with installing Aris Client 10.0.15 locally. Getting error message: "Unable to start software ag aris 10 local". Have selected the appropriate radio button on install, dont have issues with RAM and disabled security/firewall settings during install. I attached my install log files below. Please help... not sure what else to do.

Based in your first post about 'unable to start .. local' usually which means and error using the installation option 'ARIS Client with local database system' and also the log said about local.. so you can install using 'with local' and try the steps that I provided in another post. However the steps that you made to use client with localdatabase and ARIS server can be an option but also have to include license server.
I don't have this education package but seeing the description should be use local database.. and your local files only has warn messages .. where is not possible to start the local server then using the local ACC should helps ( acc - command line )

Thanks for getting back to me to. I restarted and tried to install the Aris Client Setup once more with no luck. Im a bit confused by your reply. My available ARIS 10 install DVD files are part of the ARIS Education Package for Students- Single-user local installation. I have received the above message of not being able to start ARIS 10, when I select the setup under Aris Client, local install. I have also tried the other options as well, without successs. These included Aris Client (without local database system), as well as Aris Server. (for the Architect and designer tools). Regarding your post of "local-aris-server-command-line", which install option is that? More importantly, might there be a reason that I can no longer run Aris Client locally? A change with Aris?

I also got the same issue, and tried different ways, but dicided at the end not to install it locally

I got the same problem and didnt quite get the explanation or the solution to it. I have the same specs as Ed Silva, with Education Package for Arsis 10 and Single-User-Installation. Everything works fine till the pop-up: "Unable to start software ag aris 10 local". I have been trying multiple times to deinstall, restart and unzip everything with no luck so far.
When I install without local server and start Aris Architect it asks me to connect to a server which I dont have.
Any help is appreciated!
