Can a web sercice interface (UML class) that exposes atomic (web) services (UML operations) be reused as service tasks on BPMN process models? I know that both are function object types in ARIS and therefore it is possible, my question is more if it makes method sense?
With other words is a BPMN service tasks = UML class operation?
In modelling, it always depends on how you define your model constructs. When we came up with ARIS SOA method and BPMN mapping to ARIS, we did not envision to use UML class operations to represent BPMN service tasks. However, I could see that it makes sense in some cases. So if you put up this as a modelling convention for your project and document it accordingly, I think it is a good approach.

Is there a way to link BPMN Service Tasks to Business Services to IT Services to IT Operations?
