Hi everyone

I have been asked to publish only the signed off folders in a database. Unfortunately the database contains many models and objects spread across many folders. Is there a simple way I can move all the objects to a single folder? By providing access to this folder I should then be able to restrict access to the signed off folders without "losing" the objects when diplaying in Publisher? Thanks for any help you can provide. Hi Gary,

you need report named 'Move object definitions into model group' from Administration category. Check report options and parameters carefully. Having evaluation filter will help a lot.

Hi Nikolai

Really appreciate your reply; I tried running the report without an evaluation filter and the output was much improved, with many of the intial gaps in the published models now complete. The remaining missing gaps now appear to be due to many of the logic symbols remaining in their "old" Groups?

Hi Gary,

try to do it with the "Find" feature in ARIS. Search for all objects in a folder e.g. the root group. Drag and drop the found objects to a new folder.

Maybe it's better to do it by object type. This will have the advantage that you can create a more "structural" destination folder ;)

best regards,

Jens
