Can't resore database

Hello everybody,

I am trying to restore a database that was backed up in a different station and i get the following error massage:

"Unable to import database

the adb file was created with a newer version of the program. Restoring new content is not supported by this older version of the program"

My Aris version is: 7.2.2.610034 (SR 2011_2)

Their Aris version: 7.2.2.610034 (SR 2011_2)

If anyone got any idea I'll be more than happy to hear,

Hi,

Are you connected to any ARIS Business Server? If so, also please check the version of that server.

1. Check the md5, from server and current holding copy, could be file copying corrupted.

2. What is the file size? on OS FAT32, max. is 4G

3. If it is NTFS, and your .adb file >4g, you might have problem, because jre6 supported till 4g, only jre7 supported till 2^64-1 (if not mistaken)

Usually this error means 2 things

1. File corrupted (.adb)

2. If really the new version of the program - issue.
