Is it possible to export models and objects from ARIS Business Architect and import them to ARIS Express?
If it is, can we then re-import to Business Architect without having to consolidate the objects (as described in this post http://www.ariscommunity.com/users/nicholasquattrocchi/2010-06-23-aris-express-object-consolidation-and-object-occurrences-after-import-aris-business)?

ARIS Business Architect and ARIS Business Designer do have the same repository, so importing from one to another only makes sense, if they do connecto to different databases/servers...

The problem is this i saved some models in Business architect repository,but it is in my local machine.and ARIS Business developer is conected to server.
So i want what ever i have done in Business architect to upload in ARIS Business designer,but can not able to do so.
Now you can understand my problem i think, can you help me @frank

Hi Alok,
if you do use the "LOCAL" server with the architect, you cannot use the Business Designer, this is right.
In order to transfer the data from your "LOCAL"-Server to the business designer, you can restore your database from the "LOCAL" using the architect and restore it at the server which you use to connect with the ARIS Business Designer.
Alternatively, you can export the models from the "LOCAL" server and import it at the database which you use with ARIS Business Designer. Remark: import/export can only be done using the Architect.
