ARIS 9.8 cannot be connected to LOCAL server after installation

Hi ARIS University Team,

I've downloaded and installed ARIS 9.8. (Architect + UML university certificate) and adopted the authorization ZIP file as requested during the installation process. After having started the ARIS 9.8 application the Local Server is trying to be connected, but the application didn't start. - The starting box remains in an infinitive loop.

I've uninstalled and installed the application twice, but there is still the same problem.

Please could you support ? - Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Jochen,

sorry for the late reply. I haven't encountered that particular problem yet. Normally, a re-installation should do. Did you delete all log files (C:\user\YourName\ARIS90) after you uninstalled ARIS and restarted your computer before you installed it again? This way you can make sure to remove all of ARIS and get a clean reinstallation.

unfortunately I have the same problem like Jochen. I re-installed ARIS 9.8 twice (and every time I deleted all log files as you said, Felix), I've restarted Windows and I still have the same problem :(

Hi again,

I have reinstalled ARIS once again and it opened once. Then when I closed it and tried to open once again, such screen showed (attached to comment).

I don't know why it is happening...

Hello again,

my license keys are valid. I reinstalled ARIS 4 times (all the time I did the same activities) and I don't know why only the last time was successful :)

I had this problem and it got fixed after I tried to connecto to a remote server and then rebooted and tried again to enter with local.
