I am trying to install Aris Business Server 7.2 on RedHat Enterprise 5. And I would like to avoid the hazle to install a seperate Database. I am expecting only 1 to 5 users.
In the installation guide, the chapter for the default installation with the internal database exists only for the windows installation.
Is it not possible to install Aris BS without database on Linux?

afaik, the internal database does not work on linux. I came up with this solution: Installation of Oracle Express on the same machine as Business Server and Publish Server. Then the installation is like an installation with an external database.
BUT: Oracle Express is not supported for BS! But it works for me, had no problems so far.
