Greetings to the ARIS Community!
My location is performing a one direction sync from Solution Manager (Scenarios, Processes and Process Steps) to ARIS.
Process Step name changes made in Solution Manager are not being 'acknowledged' during the sync from Solution Manager to ARIS. That is - the sync log shows the previous name being processed (the new name is not anywhere in the log).
Is there anyone out there who understands the black box of data selection/retrieval from Solution Manager? (I was making the assumption that the SAP ID was the 'key' between Solution Manager and ARIS and that the name would just be an attribute of that key.) That doesn't appear to be the case. I was able to view data in the TTREE table in Solution Manager that shows the SAP ID associated with the new name and that matches the SAP ID in ARIS but I have no way of knowing if that is even a table that is used during the sync processing.
The source project in Solution Manager is a copy of another Solution Manager project. Our sync to ARIS has always been from the copied (not original project).
We do have a ticket open via SAP and have engaged a Software AG team member but wanted to throw this out to the real world users and get their perspective as well. We did install a patch on the Solution Manager server recently but that did not resolve the issue.
Any guidance anyone out there can provide regarding actual tables and key(s) used during the sync would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your time!
Have a super day!
Kind Regards,
Joy Warner
