Is there an object in ARIS that can be used for Comments/Notes that can be attached to other objects? Below is an example of what I was hoping to find. These aren't things that I would envision being part of the model on a permanent basis, but instead, something that can be used for review notes, identification of areas that we need to come back to, out of scope items, etc. that would be removed from the model after they served their purpose.

Why don't you just use the free text tool and format it as a sticky? Or - as an alternative - use the "remarks" attribute and change your default template so that this attribute will always be shown at an object?

Hey I agreed with Roland..You can use either of the following
1. Select "Insert" and select "free-from text"
2. Select any object and then go to properties and put ur comment either on description or remarks/example..Any one you can use.
Hope this help you:)

Roland, Vishal,
Thanks for the info. I knew we could use the free-form text/comment. The problem with the free-form text, is if the user updates the layout and/or used automatic layout, the remarks will not stay with the object that the comment relates to. The use of the "Remark/Example" Attribute could possibly work since that will stay with the object.

You can certainly use the Remark/Example or any other attribute if you like. If you want to be able to reuse the comments across objects or models or do reporting using them an object works better. although there is no Comment object in ARIS you can use another object and cusomtize it to suit your needs. The data objects are able to be attached to a wide range of objects and would be good candidates to look at. Be sure to use an object and connection type that you are unlikely to want to use in the future.
