ARIS Installation Issue

Hi Team,

Suppose if we have ARIS 4b server installed in my system , i need latest version of aris 10 in this case i dont want uninstall old aris 4b but i want to install latest version of aris 10 is there any problem?

Can we do like that.. It. Will impact any functionality ?

Dear Lakin,

Do you mean with "ARIS 4b" the version ARIS 10.0 SR4b as of 2018?

The latest version is ARIS 10.0 SR13. But ARIS 10.0 can't be installed in parallel, only the much older ARIS 9.8 could exist side by side with 10.0.

May I ask why you need to keep the old version in parallel to the newest one?

In case if we want to upgrade ARIS 10.0 SR4b to ARIS 10.0 SR13 is there any direct upgrade?

in the documention if says start update setup,we can't see any setup file.

The update is direct.. only run the setup.exe available on the dvd and from the folder ARIS Server..
For multi-node environment or more details about update check out the ARIS Update Cookbook documentation from DVD.
