Could you please help me with an idea of how to manage or capture policies, procedural documents as a part of business process modeling using Business Designer or Architect. Can we create the linkages to various kind of documents by using attributes ?
How ARIS Policy Management (provided by ARIS Risk and Compliance Manager) is different from what i have mentioned above ?

Hi,
A number of different way this could be tackled, and it largely depends what storage mechanism you are using to hold your documents.
Its certainly possible to create objects for Policies and Principles, and Documentation and use the Link attributes to link out to external documentation in an appropriate (possibly already existing Document Management Solution, such as Sharepoint, SOLMAN, etc) - see image below. Example of how it's currently used.
Another thing to think about is how you will organise them in your library. You could choose to split each type into a different library, or group the sames types of documents together.
We currently use an Information Carrier Object for multiple purposes with different symbols for different types of document (e.g Policy, Technical Documentation, Localiation, Operating Procedure ).
