Hi All,
Can you please let me know is there any possibility to add “Application System type” object to “IE Data Model”? I tried adding the object to the model diagram in filter, However I was not able to find the object, I can see only default symbols for IE Data model. Is there any possibility to add? We would like to add it to IE Data models, so please advise a better solution.
And one more thing, How can we get the web statistics? We would like to know how many users are using the publisher in a daily basis as well what models they are seeing most. I know that we need to change the value param of the entries constructor-arg to “True” in “SpringCoreMonitoring.xml”. However we have tried the same and we are not happy with the information in the log files. Can you please let me know is there any other better solution for this too?
Many thanks in advance for your valuable inputs.
Best Regards,
Srinivas.

Hi Srinivas,
I can give you an answer to your first question concerning the IE Data model.
The IE Data model is a data (!) modeling notation. It is used to describe data structures on a technology-independent level, i.e. with no respect to application systems. Therefore, we do not have application systems in our implementation of the IE Data model.
BUT: You can add other symbols and connections to the any model - using the flexible meta model functionalities. See Administration/Method in ARIS Business Architect.
By the way: I wonder why you want to have application system types in the IE Data model? Which relationships do you want to model?

Jutta
