Once a year, hundreds of European IT researchers meet at the eChallenges, the biggest European IT conference. This year it took place from October 27 to 29 in Warsaw, Poland. IDS Scheer was represented by Thomas Feld and Philipp Walter who gave a talk in the session "ICT for Networked Enterprises" about integrating complex event processing (CEP) and BPM based on our research project ADiWa.
The talk was very well received by the audience and generated much interest not only in CEP/BPM integration in particular, but in IDS Scheer's research work in general as well. Apart from our own talk, we attended other interesting sessions as well, of course, thus gaining invaluable insights in Europe's IT research landscape and meeting several IT researchers from all over Europe.
