Changing file extension .adf to .adb

Hello,

I am new to this community, I recently learnt how to use ARIS express to complete a paper for my university. Unfortunately my university still uses ARIS toolset 6, which from what I've read on the site saves files with .adb extension and it is quite obsolete as a version.

I would like to ask if anyone knows if the ARIS express .adf files can be imported on ARIS toolset 6 and if I change the file extension from .adf to .adb will make it work.

Dear Nikol,

Unfortunately, you can't import ARIS Express files in ARIS Toolset 6. ARIS Express has been launched 2009 and ARIS 6 already years before.

But for universities we offer ARIS Education Packages for free:

http://www.ariscommunity.com/university

These ready-to-use images come with ARIS 7, where you can import ARIS Express files/models easily.

Dear Rune,

The problem is my university uses exclusively the ARIS 6 and the paper requires to be on ARIS 6. To add to the problem the computer labs are closed this period due to strikes, so I was looking for alternative roots. Now, I'm trying to find a virtual machine that supports windows 98/2000 to be able to launch the ARIS 6 from there...Hopefully, it'll work!
