I am an user of ARIS express currently. My organisation is planning to buy a license for ARIS Business Architect. Could anyone please let me know if instead of purchasing a new license(a rather time-consuming process), can I simply upgrade my existing ARIS express using a key or some other payment mode

ARIS Express is not a binary subset of the commercial products ARIS Business Architect/Designer. So there's no upgrade possible just by exchanging a license key.
An alternative of immediately buying an Architect/Designer could be requesting a trial version for a limited peroid of time. But that has to be done via a local sales office.
