I made some custom models in Aris Architects 10 (Local), using the option Administration > Method > Model Types > New. I also modified the name of connections and symbols too, and inserted them in these model types created. It worked perfectly and the models were great.
Now I need to pass these designed models to a student to make a class exercises. However, just backing up the base and restoring it on his machine does not work, as the templates were created they are not visible in his Local base. How do I put the types of models I created and the customizations of symbols and connections on his machine? Is it through some specific export or file that I have to copy to my local base and move to his?
You have to add this model into Method Filter, not into Template. Then export filter, import on another PC, and only then restore DB with the new model. The filter is a carrier of method extensions.
