ARIS Business Architect not starting

Hello,

I have installed ARIS platform 7.2 including ARIS Business Architect. I'd like to use this one for educational purposes and received the respective license key as well (ARIS Business Architect/SOA Architect/IT Architect). When I try to start ARIS Business Architect, I see the process within the Task Manager for a short time. After a couple of seconds it vanishes and nothing happens.

I use Windows 7 Professional, SP1.

What is the reason for that and how can I solve this issue?

Dear Ron,

Open the log file %UserProfile%\ARIS71\log\client0.log and check for any errors.

Dear Rune,

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately there is neither such a file nor this directory path on my computer. Do I need to configure anyhting before starting the Business Architect?

Are you sure that ARIS Business Architect 7.2 has been installed successfully?

ARIS should be installed in folder %ARISHOME71%?

it should be complete. The installation screen told me that it is finished and it is below %ARISHOME71%
