Hi,
we have different databases (per business unit) in ARIS 9.6 and want to restrict access to databases for users / usergroups of other BUs.
1) It is not possible to remove users/usergroups from and database? Out primary goal is that the unwanted users cannot connect to the database. Is this possible?
2) Our workaround did also not work. We removed all rights for all groups within the database for the unwanted users. The result is, as expected, the models within in the groups cannot be seen, but the complete group structure is still be visible. Our expectation is, that at least the group structure is also not visible.
Hi Bernd,
it is not possible to remove users or usergroups from a database. This does not make sense, since with ARIS 9, the users reside in the global user management.
Yes, the group structure will be visible in your version.
But with 9.7, a user can only see (and therefore, access) database where there are any access privileges for the user.
Bye,
Fank
