Aris express not opening

I have downloaded the exe file.

I then:

Updated Java
Installed Aris
Clicked on the icon to open the app

The splash screen appears and then nothing happens.

Please help, I cant find anything about this on the FAQ's and I have a prospecitve client that uses it and I need to have a look.

could you have a look in "%userprofile%/ARISExpress/log" and attach the content of this directory here?

Thanks again for getting back to me.

I sort of use OSX...

I actually use Windows and OSX, on a mac by using the app VM ware fusion to run windows.

Ordinarily the virtual windows acts in every way the same as if it was just a normal windows based computer.

It usually installs all Windows compatible software no hitches.

Do you think it would just be better to install it on the Mac OS instead?

Hi,

if you use Windows, just install the windows executable. This is more stable than the webstart version using the jnlp.

If you want to use express on the MacOS, then you need to use the webstart version (alternative download) and go back to JRE 1.6.
