•Processes can be complex and difficult to interpret
•Process content may be difficult to access
•Document based process manuals are “boring”
Hi Tania,
You can bring processes to live by
- adding video where relevant, e.g. if you have processes in physical jobs such as engineering, mining, etc. where you can link to instruction videos or safety videos
- make processes more relevant for your target audience, i.e. someone is not looking for a generic onboarding process but for an onboarding process for a new person in the HR team and you can provide specific information and links to other useful sources that helps the person to use your process (or a host of other information) in ARIS as the navigation centre
- use role based access to the processes, i.e. select the role of the viewer and the person will only see those processe that are (or should be) relevant for them
- Provide links to symbol explanations with every model via a model attribute link so that users can find and open information that will help them to read and understand the model
- Embedd links to ARIS models into other systems e.g. Confluence or others, instead of given them a PDF or a process manual
- Create useful entry models so that people can easily find (and analyse) quickly what they are looking for, use your crativity how you want to design these, e.g project entry models, landing pages for different target audiences, etc.
The limits are mainly in the creativity. Creativity is to use a tool with lots of options to serve your purpose for the enjoyment of those using it. :-)
