Hello, I am working in Help Desk, our users need ARIS Express for work, but with some users we have issues with first logging in program. When user first log in to the program, it loads endlessly. In some cases turning on proxy helps, in some cases not. Users have access to ariscommunity.com, maybe activation occurs on other server, but we dont have information about this and as i can see you keep private this kind of information. As i can see we have only one solution, that working for all users - run ARIS Express from not corporative network, but this is not good solution, because we dont have this possibility with desktops, only with laptops. So I asking for other solutions and information about activation server, to check if users have access to this server.
Hi
This information is available to ARIS express users:
"You need an Internet connection to install ARIS Express. After ARIS Express was started the first time successfully, you do not need an Internet connection anymore and you can work completely offline. "
Maybe you could create a proxy exception to ARIScommunity.com for the first login/installation. And about the loads endlessly, maybe is trying to connect to check the updates, can you provide more details... does the users cannot work due it loads endlessly?

As i said earlier users have connection to ariscommunity.com and we already tried adding it to proxy exceptions. Yes, users cannot work due it load endlessly. Installer for all users was downloaded from official site and each user have separate account on ariscommunity.com

Maxim,
Your users should use the webstart version available from the download page. (Note the required link is only available when they're logged in to ariscommunity). This version specifically works across firewalls that block the windows version from working.
Unfortunately though, the authentication process is currently offline while Software AG fix a security issue, see here.
Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.
