how to create a Dynamic sql query with date as a User Input

Hi All,

An looking to have a mash app created where the user can pass the input values based on time frame and fetch the output of the same.

want to present to the user where he can query results for a given timeframe.

eg: time frame b/w 2012-04-25 02:14:00 to 2012-04-25 02:54:00 .

The values need to be converted to the format of 2012042502140000000 as the coulmn is of varchar type when passing the user input to the query which will fetch the results from the database.

can someone please tell me how this can be achieved using mashapp.

its a bit urgent.
