Just wonder did anybody tried to access SQL databases directly from ARIS SCRIPTS?
We have a need to synchronize various sources with ARIS database and currently do it via transition files (TEXT, Excell). Would be nice to read SQL databases directly from the script and write to SQL tables script analysis results.
The database can be local database accessible via ODBC.
If someone has ODBC sample with MS Access database - would be good help.

I just did something like that at one of my customers. I received help from the customers JAVA programmers that prepared a package based on the OJDBC driver.
Since it is their code I can not share but I can tell you it is possible.
My program reads data from an external ORACLE database and updates data in ARIS accordingly.

Sounds pity when such pice of code programmers still consider as intellectual property especially when nothing was invented and simple JDBC/ODBC protocols were used.
When solution architects have to reinvent the wheel every time - the speed of progress will be everything but not the speed. Thanks again for tips

Looks like it doesn't work or nobody ever tried to use SQL databases together with scripts.
